Poker Untold is committed to accurate, fair, and independent journalism. This page explains our standards for research, fact-checking, corrections, and our relationship with commercial partners.

Research and fact-checking

All factual claims — earnings figures, tournament results, dates, and biographical details — are verified against primary sources where possible. We cite sources within articles and link to original records, official results, and contemporaneous reporting.

Earnings data is sourced from The Hendon Mob and official tournament databases. For historical events, we cross-reference multiple contemporaneous sources before publication.

Updates and corrections

Articles are reviewed and updated when significant new information becomes available. The updatedAt date displayed on each article reflects the most recent substantive update.

Corrections are made promptly and transparently. If you find a factual error, contact us at corrections@pokeruntold.com. We will acknowledge the correction in the article where relevant.

Editorial independence

Editorial content is produced independently of our commercial relationships. Affiliate partnerships do not influence which rooms we recommend, how we cover players, or what stories we pursue. Advertising and affiliate revenue are kept separate from editorial decisions.

Author standards

Writers at Poker Untold are required to disclose any conflicts of interest relevant to their assignments. No writer may cover a player, room, or tournament in which they have a direct financial interest without disclosure.
